Kevin Grenham
President/Chief Operating OfficerKevin is the president and chief operating officer of Future Benefits, Inc. He has his MBA in Finance from the University of Hartford and a BS in Finance from Bentley College. Before he and Tom established Future Benefits, Inc. in 1987, Kevin held positions with Skandia America Reinsurance Group and Grenham Underwriters, Inc.

William Doran
Senior Vice PresidentWilliam C. Doran, Jr., is the senior vice president of Future Benefits, Inc. and has spent seven years as an account executive with ITT/Hartford prior to joining Future Benefits in 1989. The holder of a BS in Business Management from Southern Vermont College and a specialist in 457 deferred compensation and salary reduction plans.

Thomas Hiten
Chief Financial OfficerPrior to starting Future Benefits, Inc., Thomas R. Hiten, the firm’s chief financial officer and treasurer, was Tax Manager with PepsiCo., Xerox and Deloitte Haskins & Sells. The holder of an MBA from New York University’s Graduate School of Business, Tom is a licensed CPA in Connecticut and New York, an (IACCP) Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional.

David S. Hunter is an investment advisor with Future Benefits, Inc. Prior to joining Future Benefits Inc., in 2018 David held positions with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. and The Pension Service, Inc. specializing in qualified retirement plans. David has a BS in Communications from Southern Connecticut State University.

Phil Troyer
ERISA Attorney & Chief Compliance OfficerPhil Troyer serves as Resource Investment Advisors’ Chief Compliance Officer, bringing more than eight years of experience in the financial services industry and 21 years of experience as a licensed attorney to the firm. In his role, Phil is responsible for the firm’s overall compliance with federal and state investment laws.
As an ERISA attorney, Phil helps respond to questions that arise regarding the application of the Act to RIA advisors and plan clients. He has written numerous articles on ERISA law for retirement plan industry trade publications.
Before joining RIA, Phil managed a national ERISA law practice and previously served as General Counsel for NRP Financial and NRP Advisors, a broker-dealer and investment advisory firm owned by National Retirement Partners, Inc.
